Accept – Objection Overruled – 1993

Objection Overruled

Objection Overruled wasn’t as strong an album as Predator from 1996, and I’m not quite sure I can explain why. It sounds a bit more – ordinary if one can express it that way? It’s less standout, simply put. The melodies aren’t as interesting. But, of course, it’s a competently performed album in every way. You get roughly what you expect from Accept; they stick to the style and philosophy when it comes to sound which placed them among the great Heavy Metal bands. Objection Overruled as an album might appeal more to the nostalgic nerve of the listener than to those seeking innovation though.
