Undisputed Attitude is by far my least favorite album by Slayer. It’s an album full of covers, well mostly covers. There is one original track, the last song on the Album – Gemini, which was written by Kerry King and Tom Araya. There are also a couple of leftovers from a side project by Jeff Hanneman, bothj written by him.
Undisputed Attitude is perfectly named. It’s full speed and brutal with really angry lyrics. It’s nothing like anything else by Slayer. Partly of course because it’s covers, but also because it’s not Thrash or even Metal. Undisputed Attitude displayed the band influences from Punk, Cross over Punk or Hardcore Punk. I’m not really into this and I cannot distinguish the subgenres from each other.
I think Iäll keep it at that. I listened to it a few times when I first bought it back in the day, but never liked it. There are are couple of songs or passages that stands out but nothing more. I also listened to it once again just before writing this text just to see if I liked it better now than when t was released. I didn’t.
