Endorama is the ninth studio album by Kreator. There appears to be a little less aggression on this one, and it’s not as fast as some of their earlier albums. I would almost call it kind of melodic! It’s not Thrash, but it’s certainly Metal, and there are elements that are both beautiful and soothing, as well as the hard and heavy guitars, bass, and drums.
It might be both a blessing and a curse that Emdorama is both melodic and not super aggressive. There are some nice songs, to be sure. I think the vocals are a little more controlled than ever before. That’s a good thing! You can find nuances that you aren’t really used to when it comes to Kreator. With that said, there are also not too many really memorable songs on Endorama. It’s good, but it lacks something “catchy,” for lack of a better word.
I think Endorama is a step in the right direction compared to the previous album Outcast released two years prior to this. As usual, Mille Petrozza wrote all the lyrics, sings, and plays rhythm guitar. He wrote most of the music together with lead guitarist Tommy Vetterli. Christian Giesler plays the bass, and Jürgen Reil handles the drums.
