Neopera – Tuba Mirum
Tuba Mirum is an EP from the German band Neopera. I guess the band name is a play with words really. There’s the word neo in there, meaning modern or new. There’s also the word Opera in there and both words combined become just what the music sounds like. It’s gothic or symphonic metal with both death growls and soprano voices. It’s not that unusual anymore and we have words to describe it these days....
