Watch Out is the first of two album by the Swedish Hardrock band Trash. I got them both on vinyl from back in the day. I hear that they’re very common though så great financial value. It was a bit of a surprise to me as I thought they were pretty obscure and little known today. What do I know.. apparently.
I don’t remember too much from them from the early 80’s when I first got them, but today I kinda got feeling and though I should seek them out. On streaming services though, since I’m too lazy finding the vinyls, hooking up the record player and actually placing the disc on the table and put the needle in the groove.
In either case, I was actually surprised how good Watch Out really sounded. I mean, the music appeals to be, it’s classic hardrock from back in the day. But it’s also very nice sounding and well produced. The songs are catchy and I really like Watch Out! I guess it should be labeled under the Hair- or Glam Metal genre, but I’m not sure if I want to do that. It’s not as happy as it should be if it were placed there. Or maybe it is?
In either case. This first album by Trash – Watch Out, is way better than I remembered it as. I’m looking forward to listening to the second album Burnin’ Rock, an album I remember as better than Watch Out!
