I’m one of those who actually enjoyed David Lynch’s attempt at Dune from 1984. I know it does not stand in high esteem among most people but I never had a problem with it. I’ve even heard rumors that David Lynch wanted to take his name from it because it didn’t represent his vision. I would sure have wanted to see Jodorowsy’s Dune but in the meantime, I’ll settle for this. I recognize the story...
I’m glad there was a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 eventually. I was afraid that there might not be one at one point. At least not something that could be worthy of the two first installments of the film series. It’s probably common knowledge by now that Disney Studios or whatever they’re called (I’m sure there are lots and lots of subsidiaries), wasn’t too pleased about some tweets James Gunn made several years ago...
