Art of Anarchy – The Madness – 2017

Art of anarchy the madnessI feel that The Madness by Art of Anarchy has grown on me for each time I listen to it. That’s why I kept from writing about it. I should have done it several weeks ago actually because I have been listening to it for a while. Now that I finally get around to it I hardly know what to write. I never heard of Art of Anarchy before but it’s a catchy name for a band. I don’t recognize the lyrics as especially political though, as one could expect. For me, this is a quite ordinary concept. There are nice melodies and the singer is very good. He can both sing smoothly and show of like he’s got a pair.

With that said I need to clarify that he’s not at par with Freddie Mercury, the master of different singing techniques. apparently Scott Stapp from Creed now front as vocalist since the former vocalist Scott Weiland passed away 2015. I have no idea how he sounded with the band since this is my first acquaintance with Art of Anarchy. But this sounds really nice.

As I started out with, I don’t know what to write anymore. I kept from writing for so long and the album has grown to an extent where it all sounds familiar. How can you write about something that sound familiar? The Madness is melodic, catchy and well written/performed. How much more need to be said? I look forward to their next album. Can it get better than that?
