Superheaven – Superheaven – 2025

Superheaven (2025) sounds modern, I guess. I can hardly stand it though. I’m not too familiar with the kind of music this is categorized as, which I suppose is some kind of alternative rock or post-grunge. To me it’s more or less just a wall of sound and, quite frankly, it sounds like a lot of noise to me. There, I said it without hesitation.

Are there any redeeming qualities? Well, I don’t know. It’s in tune, and the members can play their instruments. That’s a good thing, right? And the fact is, even though I more or less hated it in the beginning, it got better—or I got accustomed to it. The second half makes up somewhat for the first.
